YC is a spirited guy Full of vigor and never shy A heart of kindness, full of smiles Lights up a room with his delights
A truer friend you'd never know He'll stand by them and let his feelings show He'll defend them if they've been wronged And call them out when it's them that's wrong
He's aware of how things should be He'll declare his feelings for all to see He will acknowledge his strengths and flaws He always knows when he has just cause! |
NC is timid and quiet Full of emotion if there is a slight Warm and loving to all her friends Gives extra hugs at the day’s end
She has worked all year so very hard It shows in her grades and her report cards She smiles with pride for she does know The progress she’s made, how she's grown
When she started with me this school year She’d make me a poster each day so dear Now I have them all to remember her by A lovely girl whose love I can’t deny. |

JD joined us this year However, it seems he was always here He says so himself often enough He's so earnest, you hate to call his bluff
He's charming and sweet and full of mischief He has stolen hearts just like a thief He's a solid friend who'll stand by their side He won't betray them and will be a guide
Jain is kind and considerate too He's smart and funny, that is true He's always eager to learn and to play He'll do what he can to get his own way. |
SD is funny and kind She's not afraid to speak her mind She's quiet and gentle in all her ways Yet fierce in thoughts and will have her say
She tries to keep the peace among friends She talks with them so the fights will end But if she cannot help to problem solve She'll encourage them to get it resolved
Her eyes do sparkle and say so much You often wonder if you are being judged She always expects the best from you For her part, she will always be true. |

CD is really quite bright His eyes always light up with delight He finds joy in the smallest things With music in his soul, his heart does sing
If he could, he would read all day And drift into lands far far away If he could transport himself anywhere He'd probably go to Hogwarts and stay there
His love for Harry Potter is profound In every conversation he can be found What Carlos does not realize of his own He's filled with magic that's yet unknown. |
KJ loves to laugh and smile She makes friends easily with her cool style They know that she really cares for them As a friend, she is definitely quite a gem
She works oh so very hard to learn all day At recess she loves to dance and play It is with art that I see her shine When she draws, her work is quite sublime
She can be proud of so many things How much she's learned from winter to spring With kindness and caring she'll always surround Herself with friends who'll always be around. |

GL is energetic and fast He does not ever like to be last He hopes to be in the NBA one day His athleticism will surely lead the way
He's a leader who always likes to take charge He often wants to decide the games at the park But if ever his friends seek to push back His powers of persuasion are quite a knack
His gentle heart gets easily hurt If someone he believes in betrays his trust Yet he forgives them with nary a thought He values his friendships as he aught. |
JM is eager to learn He came from Columbia just this term He misses his friends who are so far away He’s making new friends with his easy ways
He makes everyone laugh With his own comic turn He bursts into song In the little English he’s learned
He holds so much promise In what he will do one day I look forward to hearing other songs Besides “Wednesday” |

AM is a fierce friend She’ll give her all to the very end In her friendship, there is no doubt With her, you are either in or out
She is a really serious student too She always pays close attention in school When she doesn’t understand a thing or two She’ll ask you to explain as a learner should do
She has so many talents that she can share She’s a thinker, a doer, and a musician who cares She gives her best in all she does She takes things up with nary a fuss |
SM is funny and bright Her repartee is a source of delight She’s always keeping her friends in splits Whether she’s doing stand up or slapstick
She’s thoughtful, caring, and kind She never chooses to be unkind If someone claims to be hurt by her There’ll be a simple explanation to find
She can be a little boisterous and a little loud But her demeanor is never ever proud She’s humble in each and every way With her words she does hold some sway |

EM is smart as a whip He rarely ever misses a trick He ponders and wonders about so many things His focus on learning is unwavering
He strongly believes in equal rights He wants it explained if things don’t seem right He wants to understand why it is so He will not give up or be ignored
He has quite a scientific mind He seems to understand how things unwind He knows so much about so many things I wonder what his future will bring |
MM lives in a world of her own Where dragons and creatures of all sorts roam Her imagination easily will take flight As she wanders in a land filled with light
Smart as a whip when she tackles math Her writing is clear and filled with facts She knows so much about so many things To conversations this knowledge she does brings
Her most amazing quality is her art She always has a vision of how to end and start She’ll bring together her ideas galore You’ll be enthralled by her creativity and more |

MP is an ambitious lass Who stood for elections to become leader of class She has some goals that she wants to achieve To become a dentist is one of her dreams
She is always a kind and considerate girl She cares for friends, treating each as a pearl She’ll try her best to keep the peace among them But she knows to walk away if there’s mayhem
She’s smart and hard working in school She likes to always follow the rules She doesn’t want to disappoint anyone She’ll do her best to make learning fun |
AR is thoughtful and calm Her sweet nature is quite a balm She chooses her friends with so much care With them everything she will share
She’ll remind you of promises that you made She’ll expect you to stand by what you said She believes that loyalty in a friend Is the most valuable trait on which to depend
Her most special quality which is of note Is her artistic abilities which do denote Her design skills and the most creative mind Her drawings and sketches will spellbind |

His laughter is often deep and full As he considers life’s strange rules He will decide what he should do He marches to his own beat in school

AS has a distinctive style When he talks or writes in his unique voice You can hear his personality coming through His ideas are quite unusual too
He has such a mature attitude Like a sage filled with rectitude He always knows what is right from wrong His composure reveals a person strong
He often has a twinkle in the eye You’re wondering what he’s laughing at He’s thinking of a private joke His sense of humor is quite exact |

SW is an artist beyond compare She’s creative and talented which is very rare She is always confident when she wants to draw She has a vision that will fill you with awe
Her smile lights up her entire face Of her seriousness there is no trace Her laughter fills the room with cheer Whenever she’s comfortable with her peer
She likes to learn and likes to think It’s only math that sure does stink If she could only have her way She’ll read and draw and play all day |
LV is a curious girl She wonders and ponders of things in the world She wants to know why things are as they are One day she hopes to be a YouTube star
She is always gentle, friendly and sweet With a caring heart and one that believes A friendship is earned by friendship received She’s a caring friend, her demeanor reveals
