Welcome to summer school!

I know you'd rather…

Sit at the beach 

Stay out of reach 

Of people who teach 

Or jump in the pool 

To keep yourself cool

And forget about rules 

Yet here you are 

For fifty minutes and an hour

To learn some more 

You really hope 

The teacher you get 

Is not a big bore

Let's see together

What we can do 

To have some fun

Before you know it

This work will be done

And you'll return to the sun!

So let's begin

With a simple task 

To write a bio poem

So we can learn

Somethings about you

And you can show ‘em

How amazing you are

And what you can do

When you get the time

And learning is fun

When you get to do

What you have in mind
